VIPS
Volunteers in Public Schools (VIPS) are an essential part of the learning community. All parents, grandparents, and even members of the community are invited to volunteer their time and talent at Yeager Elementary. There are many different opportunities throughout the year for volunteers to make an impact.
If you would like more information on how you can be involved, please send us an email yeagervips@gmail.com. Also, please create a Volunteer Portal Account so ALL your volunteer hours can be recorded.

Field Trip Update -- By The Numbers
October has two grade level field trips and the cost for those before the transportation cost is added in is around $2000.00 plus probably close to that in transportation for both added together. Unfortunately, so far our Spirit Nights have only brought in around $1950.00 for August, September, and the Papa Johns from October so we are about $2000.00 short for our October field trips with only 4 chances left to hit our goal: Friday, October 10th Chuck E Cheese from 4pm-9pm, Tuesday, October 14th MOD Pizza ALL DAY, Friday, October 24th @ our school dance we will have Pizza, Drinks, Popcorn, Sno Cones, and Cotton Candy for sale, and then on Sunday, October 26th from 11am-9pm at Jason's Deli! Please invite your friends and family to all of our spirit nights to help us raise the funds needed for field trips.
In November, we have one grade level field trip and a short month due to Thanksgiving break. Our Spirit Nights are Wednesday, November 5th @ Kanga's from 6-8pm, Thursday, November 6th Papa Johns Night, Thursday night @ Texas Roadhouse 13345 Farm To Market 1960 Rd W, Houston TX 77065, and on Tuesday, November 18th at McDonalds 1960/Breck!

Papa John's Spirit Nights
The 1st Thursday of EVERY month starting September 4th is Papa John's Spirit Night. If you order online from the location at 1960 & Breck or the location at Louetta and Champion Forest and use the code TXFUND. Yeager will receive a percentage of every order and that money will be used to help fund our grade level field trips!
