April 15, 2026—Representatives from Raising Cane’s Chicken Fingers C157 visited the staff at Yeager Elementary School on April 14 to officially announce their Adopt-a-School partnership with the campus.
CFISD’s Adopt-a-School program pairs schools with community organizations and business partners to utilize community resources to strengthen and enrich the quality of education for students.
Erik Medina, Raising Cane’s restaurant partner, shared that adopting Yeager is a way to give back to the community.
“At Raising Cane’s, we believe strong communities start with strong schools,” Medina said. “Adopting Yeager Elementary School allows us to support students and educators while building meaningful, long-term relationships within the community. We’re excited to be part of Yeager’s journey and to support the great work happening at the school already.”

Kerri Dale, Yeager principal, expressed her enthusiasm toward Raising Cane's for committing to support the campus.
“We are so excited to make our partnership with Cane’s official,” Dale said. “Erik Medina and his staff have been such a blessing to our Yeager staff and students. From spirit nights to staff donations, to valuable words of encouragement, Erik has already shown so much support to Yeager and to public education. I hope this adoption allows the entire community to see the dedication that Erik and his Cane’s location has to truly making a positive impact on the lives of others.”
