Yeager ES, TDECU establish Adopt-a-School partnership

CFISD’s Adopt-a-School program pairs schools with community organizations and business partners to utilize community resources to strengthen and enrich the quality of education for students.

Javier Serrato, TDECU Champion Forest member center assistant manager, shared his excitement for adopting Yeager.

“TDECU at the Champion Forest location is honored to adopt Yeager Elementary School,” Serrato said. “This partnership means a lot to us because we can show our appreciation to the passionate staff who invest their time, energy, and talents in the students. Afterall, students are our future, and we all play a key role in equipping them to make meaningful impacts to help our communities prosper.”

Kerri Dale, Yeager principal, shared her appreciation for TDECU Champion Forest adopting the campus.

“I was so touched by Mr. Javier Sarrato’s heartfelt comments when he met our Yeager staff,” Dale said. “He truly believes in public education and in supporting educators. We are all immensely appreciative and excited to enter into this community partnership! TDECU’s adoption of Yeager Elementary will have a profound impact on our staff, students and stakeholders.”
